๐Ÿšจ How can this community be designed to meaningfully connect people in a way that doesnโ€™t rely on them to constantly post and comment in order to know others and be known ๐Ÿค”

Hey @calm-grass-85557, if I can be honest, any connection between people will definitely need some kind of interaction. Also, there are lots of types of people โ€” some would not like to interact at all, etc. The only other way (probably) for people to find out others is if you have some directory of some sorts. Or even your slack profiles can have more fields โ€” but not sure if you can search in them. The magic of the internet and close knitted communities such like these are that even introverted folks (like myself), can express and share stuff. So, I donโ€™t know really. Apart from a directory of sorts โ€” and your featured blog story, not sure how else we could help people be discoverable.

Maybe some sort of going around in a circle every once in a while (on Slack itself) โ€” maybe once in 15 days โ€” and sharing what you are working on, cool stuff you found, your interests, etc. That ways, newer folks can find more about older folks (but this ofcourse, requires interaction). But maybe without people thinking that they are spamming the group (because it is a designated activity?)
