07/30/2019, 6:44 AMMy 2012 Macbook dies once every year. Basically there is a fault in the design of the very thin cable which connects the HDD to the mobo.
I now have 1 spare cable lying with me at all times which I use to replace the cable and have it up and running in 30m

07/30/2019, 6:45 AMAfter some days, (1 - 2 years), the cable insulation peels off either due to heat (or I don’t know what) and shorts itself on the metal body. 🤷
