Hi
@millions-lock-70396 Sorry to have missed you. It was an interesting discussion. Here are somethings that I took away from the discussion. It was a small group this time with:
@thankful-cartoon-77359 @helpful-raincoat-87337 @crooked-daybreak-310, me and another person whose handle I don't have unfortunately.
Overall, everyone seemed to have the same way to work on stuff. i.e People work on side projects either after hours or on weekends.
Working with other folks works better. Ashutosh mentioned how having people to egg you on is much helpful than doing it alone. He is working on his latest side hustle with other folks on RI.
He shared an interesting website called:
https://focusmate.com which pairs you with another person for 50m so both of you can do focus work.
We spoke a bit about energy and how launching something very quickly and have people react to it is a big motivation to get things moving (with Faraz's FPL both and my thing with PrintsToday), public involvement was very helpful.
The last thing we discussed about guilt & energy (a bit) was how being productive at your remote work can really up your energy - even after a hard day's work - and give your side hustle a boost. However, the opposite is true. If you have had a slow or non productive day at work, it saps your energy and your side hustle suffers as well.
One trick or hack to this could be that you work on your side thing first thing in the day (give it 1-2 hours) so that you can continue the high energy into your actual job and not let the slowness of your job bring the side hustle down (win-win).
Other guys on the call - please feel free to add your points if I have missed anything of if I have something wrong. Thanks again for joining 👋
