Guys one Q: What do you'll love about RemoteIndian? And what is that one thing you love about other communities that you'd like to see here? Thanks 🙂

I essentially like the high signal to noise ratio here which is reflective of the great folks we have managed to bring together 🙂 Unfortunately, can't comment much on whats missing. Not part of many other communities

It is engaging and unbiased than others. I never had second thoughts / fear of feeling about being too amateur about my engagements with people here . It has positive vibes that motivates and encourage me to pursue my remote setup more strongly.

Most of the things discussed and the content generated is good. And helpful people sharing their experience. It is easy to relate to people's experiences as a remote life is different.

Glad to hear that :) What do youll feel about offline meetups? Just 4-5 gather together and work together? One thing with remote is I miss the human faces and f2f talks :)

I think a few folks already do that informally - meetup and work. Atleast I know Abhishek and Ashutosh did that in Dehradun? +1 for meetups.

Yeah, one of the main disadvantage of remote work. Not sure how much co-working spaces are effective. It is a good idea for 2-3 remote workers to work together even if they are working for different companies/projects once or twice a week. It seems possible in big cities like Bangalore where many remote workers live.

Co-working spaces are great because you get to meet new people. Helps with getting projects too. But depends on budget (I switched from WeWork to home lol)
I'd still reco spending that little extra and stick with networking opportunities
