But that is so sensitive, it picks up the fan, etc. So I need to be in a real quiet environment. That ways, it does not work as well as the mic that comes with my Logitech webcam - (https://amzn.to/2kcV3Iv) - which is noise cancelling.
So, still in the market for a good, attachable, noise cancelling mic

09/03/2019, 12:55 PM@millions-lock-70396 So, the Samson Go Mic is definitely sensitive and it will capture fan noises like @loud-glass-33663 said. Although, it's a fantastic microphone in my opinion regardless! @helpful-raincoat-87337, @calm-grass-85557 - high 5!

09/03/2019, 12:58 PMIf anyone needs a microphone for calls, I'd recommend the Blue Snowball. Its sensitive as well to fan noises but definitely much less than the Samson.

09/04/2019, 2:39 AMThanks @purple-dream-73209 I think the mic that comes with my webcam does a lot of noise cancellation at a driver level and is probably not built into the device / microphone.
So, I am coming to the realisation that any good microphone will capture everything. That is what it is built for 🙂 The noise cancellation happens at your end.
