Before we start planning to have physical meetups, I would suggest having online meetups for a few months. This will help in understanding if the audience is interested in such events, and if yes, then how many are interested and what are the topics of interest.
Once we do this for a few months, and when the covid situation settles, we have localized meetups with a chapter/city representative. An experienced person should preferably be the representative.
