Ubuntu users, could you please recommend a good (but free) Git UI client to use, to be used on private git repos?

If you’re looking for native GNOME app, then Gitg is good enough for basic Git operations https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Gitg/ For more advanced stuff, GitKraken is decent https://www.gitkraken.com/ (it has only few features in free tier though) but it is an Electron app. Also, may I know why you’d want a Git GUI? I personally use VS Code with Git Lense extension and that does 99% of the stuff I need from Git.

VSCode with Gitlens has been my only workflow. 🔥 But I really miss the Merge tooling in IntelliJ.
