Does anyone use monitor light bars? I'm looking for recommendations for one. I have a 27 inch monitor and the lighting of my room is such that my eyes get stressed post 7pm.

I looked into getting one but they were super expensive. (10K for small tubelight...) I swapped out a bulb in my room with a smart one whose brightness and color I can control. It's at 30% and yellow hue now and it's great for the eyes

To improve lighting on my desk, I have combined a Phillips LED strip (warm white) with a Dimmer to get the desired brightness. It works quite well. Also, I have a 2 tiered desk - so my monitor sits on a small bench under which I have installed the lights. (Make sure the LED lights are never visible to your eyes directly - they get very bright and irritating.) This setup is effective and it gives a nice glow on my keyboard, mouse & desk. (I know this does not answer your question directly - but I thought to throw it out there as an alternative).

@loud-glass-33663 could you share a pic of this setup

@ripe-nightfall-45140 Sure. I got the bench made via a carpenter from Urban Clap. The stands are generic adjustable stands you get at most hardware stores. I have a tube on the wall on top and a lampshade behind me for context.
