Anyone here did cross state traveling recently? I might require traveling via train on a short notice, so wanted to know if vaccination is mandatory or covid test result should be fine.

I did, from Maharashtra to Delhi (and UP) and then From UP to Delhi via train and Delhi to Gujarat via flight. Only thing I was checked for was thermal, nothing else. I'm fully vaccinated since July though.

@flat-morning-91037 did folks check your vaccine record? I am not crossing borders only for this reason - if you are fully vaccinated there aren't any hassles as I hear - they just see paper and let you go. I haven't had last dose yet.

Last week I travelled to Dehradun and Dhanaulti, both of the places had check posts, they were requesting either vaccination records or RT PCR report of last 24hours.

Travelled Karnataka-Maharashtra by air - needed 2nd dose of vaccine >15 days prior; or RT-PCR < 72 hrs prior. Travelled Maharashtra-Karnataka by road - needed RT-PCR < 72 hrs prior. You can check online, but RT-PCR < 72 hours will get you through most border checks. They even have a RT-PCR testing rig at the borders.
