Question of the Week
Was there ever a moment when you were thankful/grateful that the pandemic happened?
The pandemic was definitely not a happy situation for many. But have you ever been grateful for the lockdown and pandemic ?

My eternal gratitude to the delivery heroes. I wouldn't have managed the pandemic if not for consistently getting things home delivered. Be it Amazon, Swiggy, BigBasket, or even the local shops.

I'm grateful for the lockdown and pandemic as it allowed me to do 3 things I didn't think I would do : 1. Live with one of my best friends. He just got married and I loved every moment of 3rd wheeling at his home πŸ˜‚ 2. Live with my parents. I didn't imagine coming back home and staying with my family again for a long duration of time. 3. Be in a long-distance relationship. Nothing reminds you of love like a long-distance relationship. When you miss someone, you never forget their value Then, there's also the WFH opportunity I always dreamed that I got to explore!

The pandemic helped me bring my daily routine in control. I used to work late nights and be generally distracted during the day. But in the lockdown, my family spent more time together, played games, ate together. Divide the chores and Fought too. But because we ate together and slept at the same time, I became more organised. I been able to do much more work that I have done previously. I have learnt some new skills, But, Mostly I am grateful for the small things in life that I had taken for granted.

Sorry, never. It’s been hard on a lot of people. I understand the good intentions behind the question ❀️

The pandemic made me shelve some plans for a year which I was totally unprepared for. Spent the year building up skills and knowledge in the domain and I am glad because I would have lost a tonne of money and time had I launched the project last year. So in a way, thankful for that. But, overall, it has been terrible. 😐 But I believe that the world will be a much more prepared and better place for it.

Last year during peak of the pandemic my father was seriously ill due to an early stage cancer and a bunch of other issues. But due to pandemic rules imposed by government on hospitals regarding crowding, he got better attention of health staff compared to what he would have got otherwise.
