Ordered an MBP 14" 32GB on 30 Oct from an Apple Reseller (Imagine Store, HSR Layout, BLR) that hasn’t been delivered yet. They originally said it would be here by the first week of December. Today they said that it’s going to take at least until 22nd Dec to be here. However, I see on this reddit thread that people in North America received their MacBooks which were ordered mid-November. I know people in India who ordered after me and have had theirs delivered. Has anyone dealt with something like this before and have suggestions on how to get them to expedite?

It depends on CPU type you ordered, especially 24 Core GPU M1 Max is a custom part and is not readily available anywhere, I went ahead with 32 Core GPU variant due to immediate availability at a local retail store here in Pune.

I placed an order here in Romania (but really comes from NL) via work and I am told it will not come till at least Jan, if not Feb

It’s the base, binned 8-core M1 Pro. Base 14" with RAM upgraded to 32 GB of RAM and the power brick upgraded to 96W. I’m kinda pissed because the Apple website two weeks ago showed delivery dates for next week if I had ordered two weeks ago from today. >_<

Seller to our company takes maximum of 6 weeks to deliver the macs with custom config cycle starts on Monday. If they are taking more than 7 weeks there should be something wrong with the reseller

Yeah any custom config is delayed by quite a lot.
