What Good monitor would you recommend, if I want to connect with my Macbook pro & use it on the monitor, I feel a 24 or 27-inch monitor would be good, I’ve a budget of around 25k, Any suggestions or recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Depending on your MacBook Pro model, you may need to use an HDMI adapter if you ony have UBS-C ports.

Thanks for sharing this @clever-salesclerk-88021 @fast-florist-11082 🙌

I bought this a month back: https://www.amazon.in/LG-Ultragear-Gaming-Monitor-Freesync/dp/B07FLGR2PN/ 32" QHD, 144Hz, Rs. 25K. Really like the bigger screen. I have many other external displays, this being the largest.

@wide-carpet-65149 don’t you feel 2k at 32 inch to too low a resolution? How far do you sit from the monitor?
w
@clever-salesclerk-88021 2K would be low, this is QHD. I think 4K is good for 40" screens. I sit at a distance that I can hi-five the screen.
c
@wide-carpet-65149 yes I meant the same, QHD. I’m asking because I got another 32 inch QHD monitor but found the pixel density very low. Then shifted to 27 inch 4k and that’s was significantly better. I suppose for reading text and being close to screen, higher pixel desnity would be better. What do you think?

@clever-salesclerk-88021 my entire work revolves around reading and writing text (software engineering) but I want my eyes to be relaxed with text. Even with a denser screen I will have to raise text size/zoom anyway.
c
@wide-carpet-65149 agreed about increasing text size on 4k screen, and that exactly is what makes text way smoother on 4k screen than a 2k screen as each individual letcharater has much more definition. Similar to a printed page, where a higher DPI printer produces easier to read, sharper text compared to low DPI printer, even though each prints on the same size of paper with same font size.
I’m saying all this because I’ve seen this side by side and the difference is day and night. Just curious if you don’t notice the difference?

The highest density displays I have used are screens on a Mac and the high pixel density is one of the reasons I avoid Mac (other than Arch Linux being my primary OS so PC/laptops are more practical). I like fonts being large and very easy to read.
I would prefer higher resolution in games (which I play regularly) but then frame rates drop the more pixels you render. I play on the 32 QHD and I find the pixel density really good (QHD) but I find the screen too large to play games IMHO. So I play windowed, 1080p size 😐

If you have a macbook with you, can you try scaling up the text (not decreasing the resolution, but scaling the text higher) and see if you’re more comfortable with that?
I can feel the confusion we’re generation for @bitter-father-70941 🤣

I do not remember if I tried that but in the early retina (that was when I last used them) I tried a few things. Never tried again. At home I have a 27" 1980 x 1200 and I really love it. And in Sikkim I have a 22" 1980 x 1020. Both work well. But my laptop screen is 15.6" QHD and I do not enjoy seeing text on it at all. I constant increase font size.
To be honest my eyes are stressed. Maybe it is just the age or whatever. I have been a full time screen user for almost 20 if I count from college days. Much more years if I count part time since school.
