Hello all, Needed recommendations for doctors who consult online. I have been facing health issues for the past few years and that has greatly impacted my life. I suffer from fatigue, intolerance to cold and stomach issues. I have seen multiple doctors and been on different prescriptions but nothing seems to have provided long term relief. I have exhausted the options for doctors in my city and it would help me immensely if you can provide me any references for doctors that you have had good experiences with. Thanks!

Based on the issues you mentioned, I would suggest to consult a certified functional nutritionist once and get blood work done.

By any chance, are you also experiencing chronic pain? Tight/sore muscles?

@orange-mouse-66795 I recently consulted a nutritionist but I don't know if she's a functional nutritionist. The nutritionist I consulted wanted me to get a proper diagnosis of my condition by a general physician before she could help me. Hearing about functional nutritionist for the first time. Can you point me to some resources to learn more about it and where I can find them?

@limited-cartoon-72739 something related to https://www.ithrivein.com I know them. The founder was my colleague in my previous organisation. I took their 3 months program for my Mom as she has Thyroid, blood pressure etc.. We did got drastic result after change in diet and supplements suggested by them based on blood reports. (Note: The change in diet is generally a lifestyle change and not a one time quick fix thing) You don't need to go with them but someone on the similar line who has proper degree and not someone who has done 3 months functional course. Some well known names in this area are Rujuta diwekar/Luke Coutinho. The main importance of the program is the analysis of blood reports
I also suffer from pain in shoulder area, upper back. I think it is because of our sitting jobs and wrong posture. Shoulder pain can also be the cause if you are into long bike trips. For me that was the trigger point. It can only be solved with regular stretching and exercise.. But it can also be caused due to imbalance of minerals. I read one case long time back related to it but can't find it now.

you can also look out for Sleep apnea it is easily overlooked and can cause similar symptoms

@faint-energy-11966 What helped me with my neck/back pain is doing shoulder exercises with weights. I do some basic YTWL exercises everyday. I use a light dumbbell of 2kgs and it does not tire me out either. You can try and see if that helps with your back pain. As a first aid, something like moov gel is also helpful.
@orange-mouse-66795 Thanks for the link. how much did the 3-month program cost you?
o
around 47K + you need to do multiple blood reports before and after the program that would cost around 30K in total
Cost of supplements is also there which depends on what is prescribed
Our main intention to go for the program was weight loss and reversing few of the chronic issues to some extent. My mom lost approx 13-15 kgs by changing the eating habits as per the diet and we did reduce dosage of Thyroid, blood pressure and cholesterol medicines cz it came in normal range.

@limited-cartoon-72739 I too had fatigue issues a while ago, and it turned out to be Vitamin D deficiency. You should rule that out first. As other folks suggest, consulting with a proper nutritionist will help. And getting the right tests done. I've been having some fatigue these days, could be due to the recent Covid infection. That's also one angle to consider.

Vitamin D is one of the major cause for this and also results in lack of immunity. Dminder app is a great for tracking vitamin D and it also suggests the best time for sun exposure.
