Hey tribe I am a Keralite who recently temporarily relocated to Assam, NE India to volunteer with an NGO(Injot Trust - https://injottrust.org/) .I work as a full time developer during the day and after work I volunteer to teach adivasi youth the basics of programming. My aim is to be here for 2-3 months and help them develop the foundations of programming and after that mentor them through online mediums.(As my office will reopen after covid eases) . Right now there are 20 students but only 5 computers.If you know anyone who can arrange a spare computer lap,raspberry pi,monitors it would be of great help(or a donation to the NGO 🙃).Also if you are interested to teach programming or mentor, you are highly welcomed. I have right now started with the basics of python.And after 1-2 months,I was thinking about doing small projects with them.If anyone is interested in tying up please dm me. The place I am volunteering is at Kokrajhar,Assam . It is a remote area and is kind of backwards in terms of education .Many students are dropping out and and are forced to work as daily wage laborers because they are not getting an opportunity. My vision was to at least provide technical skills to the bright students,so that they can come out of that poverty cycle and help their society.

Kudos for helping out and creating value. I asked around the village I live in Sikkim but because of the micro-economics of the state, people do not invest much in education. Everyone has too much money lying around. Saving your post, I will ping you if I head toward Assam.
