Hey, I am trying to decide on a liteweight sales CRM that lets my B2B sales team collaborate over deals. There is no marketing automation yet, we just have sales team reaching out to contacts over email and phone. I just want a tool that can log all these conversations automatically (integrations n right permissions) so that the deal page shows all the conversation logs for anyone who's looking.

Haven't tried these guys - https://customer.io/ - had looked them up a long time ago. If I remember correctly, they had a feature which routed a phone call via their systems and they were able to get a transcript of that easily (if it was in English) and log it for you -- which I thought was pretty cool.

goodmeetings.ai is another one that plans to do something similar. I'll share back what I decide. Know about the major popular CRMs and had kind of rejected them either for price or the way they complicate things.

Freshsales is good.

Pipedrive is simple and works well. You get access to Pipedrive Caller, with some free calling credits every month. You can choose to record the conversations, have pinned notes, assign tasks to multiple people. You can control visibility of deals, people, org. I would suggest giving it a spin.
