Any brands that still sell "Dumb" TVs? I don't want a Smart TV. Have looked into large monitors but they are outrageously expensive

LG does but not beyond a certain size; think 40" is their largest

Samsung is the biggest offender in terms of privacy. Their TVs capture screencaps of content user is watching and Samsung then sells this data. I am sure their Monitor firmware is programmed to do the same thing. I wouldn't touch anything from Samsung with a 10 foot pole 🧐

if you do not connect you smart tv to internet you can use it as dumb tv
