Recently, I have read the blue light glasses don’t have that much usefulness in preventing strain on eyes. As @delightful-night-60414 said, they’re mostly a marketing gimmick to upsell costlier glasses. I’ve also tried alternating between a blue-light blocking and a pair without it for a year, did not find any difference. If you need glasses for vision correction, get a pair of anti-glare ones. If you don’t wear glasses otherwise, you don’t need any special computer glasses.

Not evidence based, no research to support this. Buy it for placebo if you want. PS: But placebo will not work now that you know :(
