Hey Tribe 👋 Travelling to Greece (mainly Athens) this weekend. Still confused about data access solutions there. Came across Airalo and Nomad App What would you guys recommend? Also if anyone travelled this year to Greece, please let me know would love to pick your brains.

Hijacking the thread (if you dont mind). I am in market for a Schengen tourist visa. Did you get one recently? Was the process easy/smooth?

😂 Hey man I actually went for a Business VISA (going for a company meetup). But the entire process is very similar to a tourist VISA (apart from a few docs). And the meetup is in Greece so went for their VAC in Bangalore. If you end up applying from them: https://in-gr.gvcworld.eu/ The process was pretty smooth. Got an appointment via email. They sent over a list of docs to bring. Took me like 30 min at the VAC, including wait time. VISA came in about 11 days.

I tried for France tourist Schengen visa via Delhi VFS. My itinerary was for 3 weeks with hotel vouchers and flights (dummy) and funds statements For France visa , Delhi VFS has 1-2 days appointment availability but visa was denied with notification in 4 days and reason was absurd like - we don't think you will come back ........... So sort of bad experience for France. For other countries like Netherland appointment date is 4-6 weeks so choose your embassy with care although as per agent travel getting France tourist visa has more approval chances 😊
So would recommend you to keep your itinerary for 12-14 days max

Yeah the only thing you've got to convince them well is you're coming back.

Thessaloniki is a nice city too. But I preferred the islands to the mainland - Santorini and Mykonos are well-known, but Crete and some others are nice too.
