How do you ensure that you have an ergonomic setup for work when travelling? I get instant neck pain if I work with the laptop on my lap/most tables as I am tall and I have to strain my neck to look down.

This is a hard task. How you setup stuff at home isnt always going to be available when you’re on the move. But you could start with enough space between you and the laptop and perhaps use an external keyboard that you’re used to.

Carry a wireless Keyboard+Mouse+Pad. Carry a laptop stand that elevates your screen closer to your eye level. Carry a book just in case to elevate the height further. An example of my setup on right vs normally placed laptop on left. I use this at home and on travel.

You can also use this. It's very compact and can be travelled with. I always carry it with me wherever I go
