A friend used one from Belkin on his MBP and it worked fine.

hey @clever-salesclerk-88021 if its not immediately required, you could wait for some time as the keepa data is suggesting that the price might be lowered, you can put an alert for the same.

If your monitor has a DP port, I’d suggest getting a DP to USB-C cable since it’s cheaper, more convenient, and DP is usually better than HDMI

@melodic-jordan-81418 thats interesting. I had the exact same cable but it gave me too many issues with occasional disconnections. I guess its a quality control issue.
