Anyone use bright yellow lamps or yellow tubelights? I'm looking to upgrade my workspace and I can't seem to find yellow tubelights as is, they come with the whole holder that I'd need to change. I'm also considering mi smart home lamp 2, but I'd prefer if I can get something that can brighten the room itself and use the home lamp for the bedroom. Any other suggestions would also be really helpful. 💛

I was checking exactly that. It looked like I'd have to change the holder to use it. Do you think it's worth it, if you also use/used it?

You have a batten or a tubelight?

All LED tubelights will come as a single unit. They do not have the twist and turn tube lights from the past anymore. So there is no holder and tube separately. If you are looking for an affordable, single colour option, the Wipro Garnet ones are decent and will last you sometime (I have some running from 2018). You can never go wrong with a Phillips one. I have a few of these Warm White tubelights from them which work well. However, if you are buying in bulk (4/8 units, then Wipro's is slightly more cheaper). If you want to get a smart tubelight which has a decent colour (White -> Yellow only) and brightness range, Wipro sells one which is decent. I have 2 of these running since a year now. You should use the Tuya app instead of Wipro's app which is substantially better. (Wipro tubes are basically white labeled Tuya ones).

@swift-school-95990 what do you mean by changing the holder? I am using it with the standard B22 holder, just added an adapter & a small piece of wire to connect to it. I have four of these tubelights at home and it's good. The yellow light is not good enough for reading though.

Ignore the colour as seen in this photo, it's nothing close to how it looks in real.

Want to pull back my recommendation on the Wipro Garnet tubes (single colour). Recently purchased 12 from Amazon (3 x 4 packs) and today, lost a 2nd tube. (1 tube had gone bad out of the pack earlier -- but I had installed the other 3 and you can't just return a single tube if you buy a 4 pack. I bore the cost of that one). So in the end, it turned out to be the same cost as the Phillips ones (more or less). So next time, I'd just go and get a Phillips one.

This is what I have and requires a long, thin tube usually
