People working in Europe companies , I have some questions
1. How many hours you are working for a day ?
2. In which time slot do you work as per IST ?
3. How much is the workload ?

1. Varies quite a bit. Sometime few hours and sometimes more.
2. I start around 11:30 AM - 12:00
3. This is highly dependent on your team/company and your personal aspiration. For eg- I do not have a pressure to work long hours, but sometimes I do because I want to learn/explore

• I work for 8h (in 3 sessions). I'm trying out working longer hours (say 10h for 2d and 6h for 3d). Worked well for me till now.
• I start around 12-12:30PM
• Our sprints are 80h (in 2 weeks) but we account for, say, only 65h generally and keep the rest as a buffer for any unforeseen issues

Workload and overlap requirement depends a lot on the company culture and team requirement. In my case, we are allowed to choose our working hours.
• I work from 1030 1100 AM onwards till 630 700. Which gives enough overlap with the team to discuss important things. Ideally, you would not need 8h overlap at least for companies which support flexibility and understands deep work.
• ~8h
• Moderate. I don't have pressure from company side but some times I invest more hours to try out or learn new things or deep dive into other areas of the codebase

• 7-8 hrs per day. But it's flexible.
• I tried multiple things, this has worked best for me. I have put 10am - 1pm for focused work (because no one is there to slack me). Then standup (not daily), followed by lunch. 4pm-8pm rest of the work.
• Will depend on your company, but I think most EU companies don't put too much pressure. It's moderate for me.
