How do I backup my iPad before resetting it? I can see that app data has already been backed up to iCloud. Do I need to take care of anything else? PS - I don't have an iCloud subscription. Just the default 5GB free tier

if you have a Mac, do a local encrypted backup with a password in iTunes; it will store all settings and data and restore can be faster too

Turns out I didn't need to backup anything. Apple restored my iPad to the exact state that it was before the reset. Wow! 🤯
