Hey friends, Can you recommend options for headphones - sometimes there is a lot of background noise at my place. I have heard noise cancellation microphones cancel the noise from the other end only. Is it true

Bose QC series is good

Airpods + Krisp AI is the way to go

Airpods will cancel noise on the “speaker”, not “microphone” - so the other side of the call will hear the noise. You need some software noise cancellation on the microphone on your side - and I can whole-heartedly recommend Krisp AI as well.

Bose QC used to be good but Sony XM series has gotten far superior, can go with XM4 if price is not an issue.

If you want to avoid sending background noise to the other folks you're meeting with online then you need to buy a cardoid mic. If you want to enjoy music in a noisy environment you need a headphone with ANC.

Jabra headsets are known for their noise cancellation microphone But they are towards the expensive side

i have recently purchased Hyper X Cloud. Amazing quality both in headsets and microphones
