Latency plus long sessions giving me a bit of headaches Might be due to weight or it's noise cancellation feel not sure

If it's just about latency and still want to stick to wireless, then i would suggest you to try out dongle based headphones over Bluetooth ones, eg: Cosmic Byte Kronos Equinox Wireless

Boat doing well, using one as backup during travels

I keep Sennheiser CX180 in my bag just in case the battery dies on the bluetooth earphones. KZ acoustic also makes great earphones, would recommend KZ ZSX or KZ ZS10 Pro for general purpose usage.
