Hey Tribe, I'm planning a Bali trip and is a bit confused on the Travel insurance part. 1. SBI/ICICI/HDFC: Standard big shots, safer(?). But doesn't cover adventure sports. 2. Digit & Tata: Covers adventure sports, has lower premium. #2 seems a bit too good to be true and possibility of hidden catches. Has anyone had experience with either of these? Worst case scenario is to take both.

I'm in Bali right now, I have taken Bajaj Allianz international insurance from Phonepe.

Does it explicitly state that they are covered? I thought it was really hard to get and need specific insurance. Generally the sports agency gives the specific insurance.

Interesting. As far as I know this is a very gray area. It depends on the type of sport and risks involved. Like parasailing is almost never included unless you buy specific insurance for it.
p
It doesn't cover I guess. It's not mentioned explicitly

Skuba, 1 day treks, etc?
h
1 days in total or 1 day at a time? 🤔

Their docs says adventure sports other than multi day professional events and treks are covered.
Also, Tata AIG phonepe plan costs 550 for a $200k coverage, while it's 1195 for $100k in their site. @proud-ocean-97156, any reason for choosing Bajaj over Tata?

Not really, I couldn't care less about the brand. Just needed a document to get in to Indonesia I guess

I bought digit plan from policybazaar
