We are currently looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join forces to build some exciting SaaS applications for our clients. As a small company servicing clients, we had no choice but not be very transparent about the salary when we first started looking for someone. Eventually I realised it was a terrible way to hire: wastes the candidate’s time and my time. Hence decided to zero down on one amount and move forward with confidence.

Yes, makes sense. You may have to deal with noise, but that is a given anyway. Let me know if you are recruiting RoR freshers in the future. I am a Python dev who would love to transition to the RoR stack especially at a company with a culture like yours.
