An Australian client is looking for a full-time python developer. Below are the responsibilities and required skills. Please reach out to me if you are interested. What you will be doing • You will be working with the 3 co-founders on helping to create, define and develop our product in an agile environment. • Working with an Australian based team and you are ok to start ~9-9.30am lST when needed. • You will primarily be working in Python, building out our backend services and platform, with a focus on API and data . This includes ◦ API development ◦ Data manipulations ◦ Security • Setting up our GCP instance to host our Python services (in non-prod and prod). • Creating/ Building SQL database hosted in GCP • Setting up and defining security within GCP • Creating CICD setup, including code validations, build pipeline, test harness etc • Some degree of software architecture and GCP Architecture • Assisting with PoC and innovation pieces (can be non-python) • Potential of expanding from Python into e.g. NodeJs / React in the future (nice to have) Skills • GCP ◦ Security, VPN, Accounts / Setup, App Engine, CloudSQL, Pub/Sub, Logging & Monitoring, Docker • Setup CICD tools and pipeline • SQL Knowledge (Data model creation and updating) • Jira/ Confluence experience • Code Documentation • API (Restful) development and documentation, and Building secure endpoints • Software architecture • Python and ideally also NodeJs • Any experience with data analysis (e.g. in python) is an advantage • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Problem solver
