📣 Hey everyone, I have removed the description section from the above auto-generated posts based on the feedback that the long descriptions make it difficult to scroll through these opportunities. Is it more work to visit the link and get the details. Let me know what you think by voting below. Edit: I realized my question might be misleading, so I wanted to clarify the emojis below. Sorry if you have to change votes 😇 👍 - Yes, removing the description section makes sense 👎 - No, I want the old format back where I got more context

Suggestion: You could make it a truncated version of the description (2-3 lines) with a

link that redirects to the Website link (currently used)?

@refined-football-20364 I am not sure either. In some listings, the first few lines are simply headers.

I meant the earlier post as a suggestion. I agree some listings may not be optimised for this. But most will, specially when job posters realise that the first few lines are what will catch attention on the channel. Clicking to go to another page is not cumbersome, but the user is going in blind, a few lines could give users some context or encourage them to read further.

Is it possible to put the description in the thread of that post?

How about put a char limit on description?
Also, I don't know how much control you have on slack message formatting but if you use buttons for of website link and apply link, you can potentially save 1-2 lines. Just a thought.

Thank you, guys! All good suggestions. I will try some of them out when I get a chance.
