Hi guys, A lot of you might recognise me as the guy who is constantly spamming the community with the forms to join UpSkillie.com 😛 The idea behind UpSkillie was to act as a bridge between the candidates and distributed teams for pre-screened candidates and help them find remote jobs. To achieve this we have created a course and I would love to hear feedback and suggestions from remote work veterans on it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The course is designed for the candidates who are pre-screened in technical skills. The content is designed in such a way such that it renders candidates highly desirable and culturally fit for distributed teams. The modules to be covered in the course are: 1. Team culture building, informal/water cooler conversations and connection building in distributed teams 5. Communication Skills Module : Over-Communication, Non-Violent Communication and Trust building in distributed teams 6. Remote Collaboration Infrastructure: Familiarity with the tools and protocols implemented in distributed teams 7. Work-Life Balance : Mental heath and Productivity management 8. Video-Resumes
