Hey everyone, I just launched something that I worked on more than a year ago with some new additions. The platform now takes into account the passport you have along with the travel restrictions due to COVID. I’d love some feedback and support from the community on Product Hunt - https://www.producthunt.com/posts/try-indigo

Nice! Pleasantly surprised to find that Indians don't need visa to travel to Serbia πŸ™‚
h
Haha, yeah. And if you have a US visa, you can actually stay for 6 months. It's a very nice place to go to btw. I was there for 45 days last year and planning to go back soon.
v
6 months sounds nice. Maybe after covid-19 has blown over!
Did you travel with RemoteYear?
h
No, I do it on my own. Coincidentally, more often than not, I’ve had a friend along or gone to where I already had some friends. RemoteYear seems great but it’s 2-3x the price if you were to do it on your own so it doesn’t make a lot of sense for me personally.
v
Including workplace and 24*7 internet access?
h
I have a dual-sim phone and I get a sim card at the airport. That sorts out most of my internet problems when on the go. I either stay at an Airbnb + work at a co-working space or I stay at a co-living + co-working space. Which again, makes sure I have a good workspace and access to a community. The cost obviously varies according to the location and I could give you exact-ish numbers based on a destination but yes, RemoteYear still turns out to be much more expensive.
v
Cool. Thanks for the inputs!

And this is true for all companies in that space. RemoteYear, HackerParadise, WiFiTribe. The only (and probably very valuable) plus for them in my opinion is the community you get throughout that trip or set of trips.

@helpful-raincoat-87337: Looks cool, nice job! PS: You might wanna put a 'report inaccuracies' button somewhere just in case.

Ah, that’s a good idea. I remember it being in the navbar but I must have commented it out by mistake. Will fix.

Great Initiative. Lots of hard work πŸ‘
