during the Donut sessions, when I mentioned I was an SRE, many people were quite curious about what my job is like and some more were interested in how to move to SRE. Separately, I'd been part of another community slack which had recently started study groups around various topics and Devops/SRE is one of them. I will be joined by another friend and we are planning for sessions around various concepts which are of interest to SREs, including OS Basics, File systems, Docker, K8S etc. We're starting a first intro/find out what the community wants/is interested in session this Sunday, ie, Aug 1 at 9:30pm.
