๐Ÿ“ฃ <!here> I have found that my desire to always be available on RemoteIndian slack group is affecting my productivity ๐Ÿ“‰ I wrote this in the RemoteIndian slack manual but I am not leading by example ๐Ÿ“ https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GyVZ80wFMxJ6on0MHvFNjGvkBfZA4htpvBPO4DrVt5g/edit?usp=sharing
We encourage an โ€œasynchronousโ€ way of doing things. That means approaching our work and our relationships with intention and presence rather than obligation and pressure.
That is why I have decided to only login into slack 2-5 times every day. I hope it does not turn you off that the main guy is not green ๐Ÿ™ I really believe that "deep work" is the only way to provide maximum value to you. And I will surely get back to your post/query when the time is right for me. That said, I am always up for planned calls or meetings. And during an emergency, you can contact me using the number mentioned on my slack profile. Feel free to let me know whether this is a good idea or a really weird/bad one ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ*I want this to be a community of practice rather than a community of presence* โšก
