Hey @calm-grass-85557, Have you created any kind of open calendar from where we can see when will be the next zoom meeting?
c
A very good idea. I can do that πŸ‘πŸΌ
I have decided to use Google Meet instead of Zoom for the next meeting
Zoom has a 40min time limit which I am afraid is a little less
b
Why don't you use calendly to accept meeting invitation?
Can't wait to join the next meeting 😊
c
Sending out a meeting invite to 200 folks for a very low-priority meeting doesn't seem wise to me. But I will surely post meeting details in the #announcements channel. So keep a watch there πŸ™‚
b
No, it's not about sending invites, instead it is about the people who are interested can join the meeting.
You will understand what I am trying to say you check it on calendly
c
I know about calendly and I love the product, but I don't see the purpose for it right now. What are your concerns if I post the Google Meet link on #announcements channel πŸ€”
b
Yeah, posting a link in #announcements channel is very helpful. But I am here talking about more of a long term process. Since you already know about calendly, recently they have added this feature called Groups where you can allow multiple invitees to schedule the same slot very useful for tours, webinars, classes, workshops, etc.

So you can create add a future date for a meeting in the calendly.
and this way people can just open the link check for time feasibility and book for a meeting, this way they can automatically get an email about the event and all the stuff. I am sure it will also increase the number of user engagement.

Let’s keep it zoom and 40 min so it’s bound

Hey Yashu, Thanks for explaining it very clearly to me. As much as I like to use tools, this feels like premature optimisation to me. Happy to have a call if you feel otherwise πŸ™‚

Calendly is a great option too. Thanks Yashu

Fine with Google Meet as long as it is time bound
