What is the average salary of FrontEnd developer with 3 years of experience in Bangalore (Not Remote)?
s
Depends on the company, your previous skills and your previous payscales

@dry-morning-48765 For such things, I find it helpful to scroll through job posts on LinkedIn, other job sites and also check out glassdoor for companies that put out salary numbers with their job posts. You will see a handful and get a sense of whats happening. You can also call folks working in companies that you in Bangalore and ask them how much they pay for a particular position. No such thing as average salary nowadays 🙂

Average salary is a poor metric. It just depends on what other skills you have, how well you can sell them, and how much money the company has to throw around.

My first ever job switch, I was willing to go for an offer of 17lpa, lower than the one I was in. Colleagues called me a fool, to not go for anything less than 30 lpa, 25 at the very least. Ended up going to a startup for 9 lpa for other reasons, which kinda backfired and that was my last non remote job.
Point is, if someone's offering good money, bargain higher. Take it. Worst case, it doesn't work out and you move on, but now you can demand even higher pay. The industry isn't fair.
Hell, the world isn't fair. Talent, effort, pay, experience, none of these are related to each other.

@dry-morning-48765 always remember that more often than not, your future salary is based on your existing salary. There are a few companies that may not ask about this -- but I recently interviewed at Slack -- and even they asked me how much I made last year. So 🤷 Also, I completely agree with Phani that talent and salary is not related to each other in most cases. It is more often than not being (applying) at the right place at the right time. If you feel you are getting a higher $$$ than you deserve - treat it as good karma and pay it forward 🙂 Be generous 🙂 All the best for your new gig!
