Random topic.. Am trying to track all my online subscriptions and reduce them. One category is watching entertainment(TV series, movies). ( We gave up DTH close to a year back.) I currently have subscriptions to Netflix, Prime and Hotstar. I was planning to remove Hotstar after GOT but then I realised its’ comparatively cheap and has a good mix of context ( Indian, regional and non Indian). So now this comes down to Prime & Netflix. I am not sure Prime is very useful though I am sure once I give it up there will be that one thing that I will need the next day. However this scenario has been quite rare in the last 2 years. Apart from that ( and of course I still need to see Season 3 of Bosch) am wondering if the only fallout to leaving Prime will be longer delivery timelines. Am also thinking if I should give up everything and sign up only when I have time to view something which is like once or twice a quarter.🤔

I gave up Prime. As a result I also shop less 😅

Having a prime subscription incentivizes people to shop more and often. If you're looking to cut down expenses, cutting off prime is a good idea. I've discontinued prime, and pretty much everything. No media consumption in any form for a while, it's refreshing. Podcasts are an ocassional exception.
