I logged out of Facebook from my browser today. What social medias people here use (can’t figure out polls 😞 ) Context: I never installed facebook on (current) phone but I can’t completely lose facebook because many of my clients run facebook pages and social media is plugged into products/websites these days. I still use social medias though, here are the ones I’m using these days: 1. Reddit (through Boost) 2. Twitter 3. Instagram (hardly posting, but just to keep touch with people I meet through travels) What are yours?

So who do you want to stay in touch with the most..? Dominate 1 platform and make sure they come to you. No use spreading out. Keep the other stuff in case you need for some show

Umm… there are no defined objectives as such @cool-gold-71762 I think for anyone who I actually want to stay in touch with calls/texts are way to go, these social media apps are really a way to get relevant updates and may be getting to know new folks/thoughts/ideas from around the world. I’m not using any of these social media for any kind of work so far (except Facebook which I mentioned in some other comment)

I’m switching on and off in terms my rate of activeness on facebook and instagram. My primary objective of using them is for showing off my work /hobby related content with an intention to generate leads and build/brand my profile around that. I did get few leads from facebook in the past but not that qualitative. I’m finding instagram more useful to look for learning resources and information. Lately I’ve been staying away from all the social media as my feed is mostly filled with weird politics and excessive personal showoff.

You'll find good value in Reddit if you use it wisely (and stay away from top results. Communities are great and very strong in moderation, that makes you see only quality content about topics you follow. Though design community mostly uses Twitter but there are many great artists at Reddit.
