@calm-grass-85557 @dry-waitress-7852 @helpful-raincoat-87337 @cool-gold-71762 @rough-autumn-89795 and many other that i am unable to quote each, I am looking for suggestions before taking a career decision. It’s about going for a regular job ( a switch after 2 months break, an offer lesser than previous but it “seems” interesting & challenging ) vs going for own ideas to implement ( or get implemented as i am not full stack developer ) while considering i have about 2~3 years savings for current life style.
disclaimer: i just saw Hari’s video interview and even followed peter levels blogs :P

I was in the same spot last year. Didn’t had a job for like 7 mos and was doing startup. Usually you don’t need to work 24x7 on your ideas. They require time and thinking and testing and waiting. In the end, I gave up and got a job. But still did startups on the side. Still have a job and I am plotting my next idea. My recommendation would be to get a light job and work on ideas on the side. Only quit your job if you have something that is making money (or showing that promise).

thanks Avi, So 1. new job is going to be occupying most of my time and energy 2. anything paying lower than that OR giving me “not exciting” work is a loss in my view 3. On IDEA i want to ask everyone - if my IDEA is not about building a product as such, but rather i want to build a small prototype to test my theories about “penetrating” real customers and bringing them to world of “F&O” trading. I have few secret ideas to make that happen, but gut feeling stops me on going full scale on those yet.
