Can anyone recommend me a laptop from above three choices. 1. Mac Pro 2. Surface 3 3. Mac Air *I have written choices as per my level of interest. But I am confused from above three choices. I am a final year CS student, so I will be doing code stuff mostly. Also use Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and all Adobe products. Rather than that regular stuff like surfing, mailing, watching movies etc etc.

Honestly would all come down to what you want to use it for, I think giving that context will help people give their opinion.

Based on that, I would personally not go with the air, a little too underpowered and overpriced for that. I believe those still only come with dual-core CPUs. Between options 1 and 2, that would come down to the OS reference. You need to take a call on Mac vs Windows. Windows is not very developer friendly(Unless you are using docker for everything), if coding is a priority and you don't want any other linux based machines then I'd just go with the Macbook pro(Please not the one with the butterfly switches).

generally mac is considered as a developer's machine. unless you plan to buy a windows and later convert to limux.. its not possible with surface I believe.

Go with OS because it has a better ecosystem of the apps yoy would need

Don’t go with Macbook Air if you want to use Adobe products as they need higher power and better cooling. Although I have seen Adobe apps performing okay on newer macbook air, but still you will find these apps running lighter on Macbook Pro or similar level machine. Didn’t do MS Surface series benchmarking with Macbook Pro, so can’t be sure on that. But there are plenty of resources out there.
