Thanks to @loud-glass-33663 for gitfting the subscription for masterclass. For anyone who is on the fence, would highly recommend it the content is really top class.

What courses are you planning to take? Each course is top-notch, yes, but I fear it’s unnecessary for a common person not doing acting, tennis, film-making, etc.
n
Art of Negotiation, One by Bob Iger, Neil deGrass Tyson to begin with.

Hey @rough-autumn-89795 That is a good point. Don’t think of them as tutorials that we are used to. I look at it more like this - if you are curious about a subject, it can quickly take you from 0 - 40% on a topic. I am interested in story telling, film making and writing. So looking forward to those courses. For already experts, this should help to take you from 90 - 95% with tips, tricks & motivation

Makes sense. It's surprising how quickly one can go from 0 to decent level on a topic. Thanks Saurabh and CK. Best of luck.

Will be waiting for a full review after you guys have been through more courses.

I have been guilty of buying courses just for hoarding them and not applying them. Hence, not buying any new courses now. Same for books. 😅

@rough-autumn-89795 @tall-advantage-5586 @numerous-balloon-67401 wanted to share initial experience while the discount is still in play (ends 26th Dec). I have spent about 90m since yesterday with Chris Ross’s negotiation videos and Neil deGrasse Tyson’s scientific thinking video. Here are my observations: 1. The production quality is phenomenal. If I was having world class experts have sessions, this is the quality I would expect. 2. The content is extremely entertaining and you are also learning something. 3. I was right in my hypothesis that it is a good resource to get you excited about a topic. Taking you from 0-40. It is not in-depth enough to take you from 90-95. But I am guessing if you are already into a subject, still will be good as they have lots of real life case studies of the experts themselves which you won’t find elsewhere. 4.Having world class experts talk about their stuff is super inspirational. All of these folks have put in their time and it shows. Process matters over talent and it shows. This itself is great if you are on the cusp of trying something new and second guessing yourself.

As of today (just these two lectures), I feel even the full price of $180 is worth it and would renew. Don’t know how it will play out over the course of the year. 🤞

Thanks for the detailed review @loud-glass-33663!

l
Hey @swift-pilot-25722 it is an all access pass for 1 year. So all classes available for that price. Ping @millions-lock-70396 he was looking to split the cost with someone
You basically get 2 accounts for the price of 1.
