Interestingly they claim that if the benefits for women are reduced, they’d be more inclined to hiring them. That’s such a BS excuse. Instead, increasing paternity leave to an equal number is a much better solution. Speaking as someone who’s experienced the importance of paternity leave firsthand.

With regards to dev.to write-up as a part of #shecoded the sessions I am referring to are community meetups we used to have in Delhi as a part of local developer groups like Pydata Delhi, Pyladies Delhi, DjangoGirls Pune, DjangoGirls Bangalore, DjangoGirls Indore, Linux User Group Delhi were I taught django, python, REST APIs, airflow and similar topics.
