Tips, SEO strategies and inspiration for a remote indian portfolio?
c
Have a look at @helpful-raincoat-87337 website - https://farazpatankar.com/ for some ideas. P.S. - Why would SEO be relevant?
r
SEO because I would like more clients to be able to find me.. I've had a client who found me somehow on the web.. I asked him the exact place he found me but he couldn't remember.. But just like a product, a freelancer, can definitely use some good inbound marketing @calm-grass-85557

Interesting! What are your thoughts on twitter as one of your inbound channels?
h
I wouldn’t count SEO as an inbound channel. Depending on your field of work, you’d be better off building a blog and that content being a channel. Or like @calm-grass-85557 mentioned, Twitter being one of those channels. And lastly, if you’re a developer, open source contributions or a good Github profile being one of them.

Twitter definitely along with other platforms like LinkedIn. Also just like @helpful-raincoat-87337 says about the blog. That is/can be a good contributor for leads. @helpful-raincoat-87337 I guess we differ on how we define inbound.. I'll share why I take SEO as an inbound medium. So someone searches for
Rails full stack developer
and my portfolio which is also a site like my blog ranks up on google. And a client who contacts me from this funnel would account as an inbound.
P.S I've not had too much success on twitter but I've also not tried hard enough.

Have you had success with the SEO stuff? I’d imagine it is much more difficult than it sounds.
