Folks, need help.. Trying to pick up a laptop for my personal work like doing stuff on excel, making podcasts and media and regular media consumption.. Please share your suggestions. I'm stuck between the new MSI Alpha 14 Series with AMD Ryzen, Mac Air and Pro (Not sure what's the difference if I'm getting the 13 in model). Budget not an issue but wanna get something that's good value for money.

If Linux is something you prefer ThinkPads are amazing. edit: should work with windows well too.

I think for media consumption and spreadsheets, you can get Macbook Air.. It has great battery life (media consumption)..and is good for media editing as well (for podcast).. and it's powerful enough to run spreadsheets
