I have actually used Instamojo quite a bit recently. I am also verified by them and I think we did about 10-15K worth of transactions with them. They are reliable and I did not have trouble with them. Quick to get started if you want to start collecting payments immediately (within hours). The only drawback I realised is that if you refund someone’s money, you still end up paying the gateway charges with Instamojo’s cut. They don’t have the concept of

collecting

a charge that Stripe & RazorPay have. i.e. I can authorize your CC for an amount and then decide later I don’t want to charge you - so I don’t lose any money. But with Instamojo, there collection is immediate — so you end up paying their gateway fees.

I used instamojo extensively in 2016-2018 back then it was amazing. • Very easy to setup • Nice APIs • They were amongst first few to add support for UPI payments Recently i came across many people commenting on issues with payments. Thanks @crooked-ghost-83128 for the link. I read the first handful of articles and except one who was complaining about money not being credited and he not being able to speak to customer care, rest all reviews were inline with my experience. TL:DR; if you want to setup a really quick shop to sell something, it is a great option. Especially if you are not expecting to do a lot of refunds. For anything more indepth - using APIs and other features like settlement cycles, subscriptions, etc. — RazorPay / Stripe may be far better options but they do take time to get setup.

Yeah Even i love the simplicity of Instamojo as a products

instamojo is awesome, don't worry about crap reviews - they are by people crying everywhere
