Hey folks, looking for a good mechanical keyboard to use with a MacBook. Keychron looks nice but is not available in India. I couldn't find any good ones which are currently available in India.

Can highly recommend the TVS Gold Mechanical keyboard. Reasonably priced - I have been using this for 6 years now and I think it is built to outlive me 😊

Budget? If no specific budget, I would recommend Kinesis Advantage 2. It's the keyboard money can buy. Quite pricey. I look for two things: ergonomics (linear vertical alignment, island / comfortable layout) and cherry MX brown or equivalent.

I have been using Gk-61 Mechanical keyboard since may. I bought it from meckeys.com . It is a budget keyboard costing around INR ~3.5k. For first impressions, have a look to a video I made.

Looking for a 64 key mechanical keyboard. Something close to the Apple magic keyboard in size

Highly recommend the ErgoDox-EZ, though if I were buying again, I'd go with the Moonlander Mark I. Pricey, but I don't expect to ever buy another keyboard.

@brief-scooter-54095 have you had these shipped to India successfully or have had someone carry it for you? (Apparently they ship from Taiwan to India and the $365 price tag includes shipping. Which is very cool. I am sure you’ll bear customs though)

The moonlander looks nice. The estimated shipping date is next year though 😄

Yeah... logistics from the east are pretty bad these days.

It’s a bit expensive but you can buy Keychron from eBay.
