I have 3 air purifiers at my place. The choice really really depends on what you want out of them. You can just get one for the sake of getting it, however if you really want the air purifiers to matter you'll need sensors too, to figure out how it is working. Usually the air purifiers have a spec for CADR which means how much air they can recirculate. Most of the air purifiers come with 200-300CADR and I quickly realized that they are good enough for just 1 room in a place like chennai. So depending on the size of the house you might have to get 2-4 especially in delhi to get the particulate count in the permisible limit. I had initially got one air purfier from
amazon.com but now I stick to the Mi Purifiers. They are pretty good and report the air quality too. Plus its easy to find the filters which need to be changes every 6-10months (mi sells 2 models on amazon, one is just a purifier and one with a sensor and app). It might be worth getting one with a sensor and then add more of the simple ones
