what do you guys think about Apple silicon M1 in new macs?. is it worth to buy now? or to wait for 2nd version?

Should wait for 2nd version or until the apps you use are optimised for M1, also there are leaks about 14 and 16 inch macbook launching next year, which should have better performance

I’m going for it. I don’t have a proper working laptop right now and waiting for another 6 months for a “better” version doesn’t make sense. If I had an older macbook I would’ve probably waited for the next iteration.

makes sense. actually, i have older one that's why.. else i would've went for it.

most development tools like Docker are not yet supported. Its usually a thumb rule to wait for v2 for apple products.
