@here Has anyone managed to get FIRC for the payments received from Transferwise? I tried with two banks HDFC & ICICI I wasn't able to get a single FIRC.😑 If we go with direct remittance to our bank, which bank provides the best exchange rates? Would love it if people can share their experiences, I am sure this will be helpful to many of us.

Also, this has been discussed earlier. Can you try a search?

@refined-shoe-17299 I have received eFIRCs in the past. You can follow the process here to apply for the eFIRC. Basically you'll need the UTR number and Bank name for the bank which sent you the payment. Once you have that, you usually have to send that bank a mail requesting for the eFIRCs. They usually reply confirming that the payment has been made and would ask for some other documents along with a letter with the bank manager;s sign and seal. You'll have to send that to the bank along with the fees and they usually send the eFIRCs. THe process is the same for 1 eFIRC or 10, so I usually bunch them together at the end of the FY and get all the eFIRCs together at once

I always choose SBI - I think they have really good rates
