Hey, do we have anyone who recently travelled to Himachal? I want to know if a Covid Negative Report is still required to cross state borders? I know it was around beginning of the month - but can't find any relevant latest information.

I live in Himachal and you don’t need it to cross over to here, as far as I know. There were friends of mine who did come here (both in the past week and past month) and they didn’t need covid certificates.

Sounds good, thanks :) Some of my friends went to Manali in first week of December and it was required and they were asked to show. Don't want to get stuck at border, we leaving on 3rd Jan for Manali

But I would still advise you to get the test done. Things aren’t certain here with the rules. Today, you don’t need it. Tomorrow, suddenly they might start asking. And with the influx of tourists around the New Year, I am assuming the state government will tighten up measures to contain further spread.

Makes sense, will get one done anyways. Last time when imposed, it was required to be of last 48 hours which was a challange for someone coming from Rajasthan. Trying to avoid new years rush, that's why planning to teach first week of new year.
