I have been using these 10A Wipro Smart plugs for a while now (I have about 4 of them already) and they work really well. (Get the Tuya App (ios / android) from whom these are white labelled). These generally go for ~ Rs. 1,000 a pop but there has been a price drop today to Rs. 799. Incase you are interested in trying them out. They have a 16A version as well which is just Rs. 100 extra - but don’t get those unless you want to connect 16A devices (plug point is very large).

Nice deal. How are you using them? Just simple control via smartphone or have you set up some cool automation schedules etc?

I use 2 for lights. 1 for my balcony (patio style) lights which switch on and off on sunset / sunrise. And then I use the other one to switch on my desk lights on my comp table in the morning so it is on when I wake up and off at 10PM - indicating it is time to hit the hay 😬 I have 2 x 16A ones which I use with the oven and washing machine to track electricity consumption and remotely turn it off if required. They integrate via IFTTT (if you use the Tuya app) and directly on Alexa as well.
